Born in Nashville Tennessee, 1949 and spent my youth dreaming and creating art. I am a graduate of Fisk University, skongen School of the Arts. and Tennessee State University.

In high school I was given a class assignment by my english teacher, write and Essay on what is wrong with the concept of black power.
Sometime during that week I had a lucid dream, during thE dream I met a little girl and decide to ask her this question: What is black power.
Question (me) What is black power?
Answer ( little girl): The function of a community is to define it’s self.
The five little shorties website is my attempt to add some images and stories to help children with that function definition .

the shorties are my attempt to create fantasy images that will inspire the unique imagination of children, a world where fairy tale tradition merge, with a childs world where happy every after, is always the end that need to put joy into a child heart.
